This position requires physically reporting to work in San Luis Obispo, CA. Remote work is not an option for this role at this time.

Starting Pay Range: $24 - $28/hour

Purpose of Position:

• Front-End Website Development/Maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble and update web pages across multiple e-commerce web sites.
• Use proprietary scripting language built into point-of-sale system to render website HTML.
• Write and maintain PHP pages to integrate third party services using data from the point-of-sale system.
• Knowledge of cross browser compatibility issues.
• Consistently review work for accuracy and functionality prior to publishing.
• Communicate clearly and professionally when speaking and writing.
• Solve problems when they arise, using big-picture awareness and available resources.
• Communicate effectively, encourage others, and behave professionally.
• Take direction well and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Focus, maintain attention to detail, and balance multiple duties in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Experience with React, Bootstrap and jQuery is a plus
• Database experience is a plus, specifically MySQL / MariaDB
• PHP experience is a plus
• Experience using REST APIs is a plus
• Swift and Swift UI experience is a plus
• Git/Github experience is a plus
• Must be comfortable with Mac OS
• Interest in sports a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

• Regularly required to handle objects, type on a computer, and use computer software.
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• Frequently required to sit in a stationary position or stand for prolonged periods of time, in addition to occasionally moving about inside the building.
• Must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh between 10 20 pounds and rarely lift and/or move items that weigh between 20 - 50 pounds.
