Nest Hockey Academy is a Christian school that integrates faith, academic excellence, and athletic achievement. We are seeking a Certified Middle-High School Math Teacher, as well as a Certified Middle-High School Science Teacher, who is passionate about education and committed to incorporating Christian values into the learning process. The ideal candidate will inspire students in mathematics/science, support their spiritual journey, and contribute to the academy’s mission of developing well-rounded, Christ-centered student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Teach middle-high school-level math or science courses.
• Support and implement lesson plans that integrate faith-based principles and values.
• Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through dynamic and engaging teaching methods.
• Provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments to monitor and encourage student progress.
• Collaborate with the academy’s faculty and staff to align academic and athletic schedules effectively.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain a Christ-centered classroom environment that promotes academic growth and spiritual maturity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification in middle/high school mathematics (state-specific certification required) or teaching certification in middle/high school science.
• Previous teaching experience at the high school level preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive environment guided by Christian principles.
• Ability to adapt to the unique demands of an academy combining academics, athletics, and faith-based education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,500.00 - $57,390.00 per year
