Clarke of Roselle, IL is seeking to hire a seasonal Light Trap Foreman who will be responsible for the overall maintenance of equipment utilized for mosquito monitoring and general assistance to the surveillance operation. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY

• $16/hr
• Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:30pm (hours may vary)
• F ull-time seasonal position (generally May - September)

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A LIGHT TRAP FOREMAN

• Travel to mosquito traps in community locations
  • Install, inspect, and repair mosquito traps using your mechanical skills
  • Assist with spring installation and fall removal of mosquito trap network
  • Inspect and identify traps that may need repairs
    • Repair work may include rewiring and soldering
  • Perform quality assurance checks in the field
  • Provide support to the surveillance staff
  • Route coverage assisting with trap pick ups as needed

• Smartphone will be provided for navigation to work sites, communication, and logging daily work

• Excellent attention to detail
• Assist supervisors with a variety of tasks throughout the season

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LIGHT TRAP FOREMAN

• Mechanically inclined, ability to make simple repairs to mosquito traps in the field
• 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently
• Possess a high school degree or equivalent with high school level math skills
• Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
• Comfortable walking on uneven terrain
• Must be able to work through the end of our season (September/October)
• Adhere to company's jewelry policy
